What. A. Day

Whew. I am so glad that it's 2:30pm. That means the worst of my day is over.

My little man had to get a filling this morning. He was premature and because of that, some of his teeth didn't form properly and they didn't get the right amount of nutrients. They are hypoplastic (not too sure what that means) and had started to break down. So. 3 teeth needed filling, but I decided to just do the one that was breaking down. At least that's what I thought was happening. Turns out, they did all three.

My poor little guy was tied down for an hour. His screams were gut wrenching. I stood in the hall crying as he laid in the room terrified. It was one of the worst moments of my life. The feeling of helplessness is horrible. Knowing there was nothing I could do to make it better killed me. But it's done. He accumulated a pool of sweat and was shaking, but a pacifier, cuddles and Thomas The Train helped.

After nap, I decided he needed some extra spoiling. So, we went out to the mall for Chick Fil A and a ride on their train that goes around the lower level.

In some other news, I'm working more toward being eco-friendly! In that effort, all bubble envelopes are now recyclable and mostly recycled, Kraft boxes (that can be reused) are recycled and the organza bags can be used again and again. I also will not be including invoices in the package and my notes will go on paper I cut myself from the left overs from the handmade gift boxes.

I know the hand made gift boxes were loved by many and I loved making them, but they take so long. So, to keep the option out there, I will have a separate listing for those who wish to also have a handmade box. They will cost $1 and will be available until the Christmas season!

Hope everyone is doing well! Stay safe and warm.

Oh no! That sounds horrible! Poor little guy :( I used to hate going to the dentist when I was a kid. I had many cavities when I was younger. I hope the little guy is doing better :) Chick Fil A is so yummy!

He loved the Chick Fil A! He was pretty crummy that day, but yesterday he was in a much better mood. Thanks!
