Cabin Fever

We were going a little stir crazy today. We had to get out. Had to! Between being confined to a tiny townhouse, a toddler with a new molar popping through and no real source of entertainment we knew it was time to go.

So, first we tried to go one way and got stuck behind a stuck car.

Then, after Aaron helped for about 40 minutes, they left and we hit the Olive Garden. I had heaven in a cup. Hazelnut Macchiato.

Then we went to the mall. I got a pair of boot liners for my rain boots I thought would work as snow boots. My freezing feet begged to differ. I also picked up a pair of brown boots for $20! The ones I really wanted were $50 and felt like I was walking on a cloud. They had brown, grey and black. So....if anyone wants to get me a valentines gift..... ::wink::

Then, for the obligatory snow pictures.

This is looking at the front of our house. There are supposed to be bushes there. And a chair. To give you a good idea. Noah is 35in tall. The snow drift going to the bushes was slightly taller than he is. Aside from what was plowed into a pile, that was the tallest I've seen.

I hear Chicago got pounded and many were stranded. I hope everyone is home safe and warm with power and heat. Wishing you all a good night.
