Hello? Hello? This thing on?

This week has been horrid, and that's an understatement.

If you follow on Facebook (which you better, haha) then you might have seen a couple updates with some info on why it's been bad.

Friday (8/19)- Sinus infection/head cold and power out and trees down all over the city, causing a cancelled party

Saturday (8/20)- partly ruined party, sinus ick and phone randomly deciding to clear all memory

Sunday (8/21)- Sinus ick got worse and 3 hrs in the car doesn't help

Monday- Feeling a bit better other than heacache

Tuesday- Noah get sick

Wednesday- Noah sicker with a virus, starts getting a rash at night

Thursday- Noah has rash all over

Friday- Rash still there and becoming raised, but he feels better

Saturday- Overall great day until 1am (technically sunday) Noah wakes up frantic, can hardly breathe and can't stop coughing

Sunday (yes today)- Noah diagnosed with croup, we both had 4 hours of sleep.

So, to get some stress out, I decided to make a new necklace [Eat, Pray, Love]

Aren't these beautiful photos! There were taken with the DSLR and thanks to some very special lenses that you screw on to the main 18-55 lens.

It's been a week?

Holy cow! Time flies when you're frantically busy....haha

Shell me something beautiful

I mean show me....and I will!

These shells are small, beautiful and perfect. When I first saw them I knew I needed to get them as birthstones for different pieces. My first thought was for memorial/loss pieces and very simple pendants/earrings. There are larger shell options out there, but right now, I like the littles. They aren't overpowering and if you are into subtleness, they're perfect.

This sweet angel is stamped on a 1/2 disc matched with the large shell as a birthstone color of a lost little one.

The disc here is 3/8 and is a way to have a subtle memorial piece that is beautiful and meaningful to you.

As soon as I unpacked the shells, I knew I had to make earrings. I love long dangling earrings (I know I know, I can't even wear them but I love making them....) and paired up blue and red, which are my two favorite colors.

These three are a fun combination of colors and in no particular collection, just beautiful and fun to match up. Claim your own on the fan page!

This one is actually two colors of discs. The one on the left is brass and the one on the right is nickel silver. In photos it's hard to show the difference because brass will come out looking silver.
