These shells are small, beautiful and perfect. When I first saw them I knew I needed to get them as birthstones for different pieces. My first thought was for memorial/loss pieces and very simple pendants/earrings. There are larger shell options out there, but right now, I like the littles. They aren't overpowering and if you are into subtleness, they're perfect.

As soon as I unpacked the shells, I knew I had to make earrings. I love long dangling earrings (I know I know, I can't even wear them but I love making them....) and paired up blue and red, which are my two favorite colors.

This one is actually two colors of discs. The one on the left is brass and the one on the right is nickel silver. In photos it's hard to show the difference because brass will come out looking silver.
