This is where the "magic" happens. I'm diving feet first into the world of jewelry and thread.
So far I have over 30 pieces of jewelry that I've created and now I'm working into the sewing world. It'll take a ton of practice, but I'm determined to create some wonderful things that I can share with family, friends, and anyone else who might like my products.
My first jewelry project was a simple bracelet:
I had so much fun making it that I knew I wanted to go further. With my jewelry, I try to keep things simple and meaningful. I've created Christian necklaces and miscarriage and pregnancy loss remembrance necklaces and bracelets. Challenging myself is something I love to do, so I'm working to advance my pieces. I'm starting to work on multi-strand necklaces and bracelets and I'm going to try to create my first set of earrings.
As for the sewing world. My husband had gotten me some fabric before our son was born (nearly 2 years ago) so I could make him a baby blanket. Well, 2 moves and 2 sewing machines later, I've created it.
When things get rolling, there will be no stopping me! Hopefully after we move, I'll have my own room to do my crafting. Until then, I'll work with my corner of the living/dining room.
